Jogging is one of the most common exercises people do when trying to lose fat. While we believe it is fine to do, it is not the best form of cardio. Espcially for long distances. Jogging 1-2 miles at a fast pace is great but we do not recommend 5+ miles often. Take a look at long distance runners and you will notice they look skinny fat. Meaning arms are skinny but not muscular and they have a little gut.
Jogging for long distance can actually make you lose muscle and some cases gain fat.
So if you are going to jog we recommend only doing 1-2 miles, however sprinting or walking would be better to include.
